ASHLEE SIMPSON has sparked speculation she's back with her on-off boyfriend RYAN CABRERA, after enjoying a romantic night out in Hollywood with him on Monday (01AUG05).

The couple, who reportedly split last year (04), set tongues wagging when they showed up together at cable network E!'s Summer Splash at the Hollywood Roosevelt Hotel's Tropicana Bar.

The pair surprised onlookers as they held hands and acted cosy throughout the evening.

A coy Simpson will only say of her current relationship with Cabrera, "We're really good."
