Simpson And Electra To
Try Interior Design |
Carmen Electra and Ashlee
Simpson are to try their
hand at interior design.
The stars will create themed
'Rock Star Suites' for the
Hard Rock Hotel and
condominiums in San Diego.
According to
TeenHollywood.com, Simpson
will create a 'Surfer Rock
Chick' suite while Electra
will design a 'Rock Star
Goddess' suite.
The suites will apparently
be on the market this
spring, with prices for the
condominiums going up to
$1.5 million.

Pop star ASHLEE SIMPSON was
attacked by a bar of soap
when she swore in front of
her parents as a teenager.
The PIECES OF ME singer, 21,
tries to keep her language
clean when she's around
Baptist manager/father JOE
and mother TINA.
However, Simpson admits she
lived to regret it after
cursing in front of her dad.
She says, "I said a bad word
once, and I actually did get
my mouth washed out with
soap.
"It was just the 'b' word. I
know - you sometimes hear
about that, but it actually
happened to me."

Eating Disorder |
Ashlee Simpson struggled
with an eating disorder as a
child.
The Boyfriend singer says as
soon as her parents noticed
the problems they took
drastic action.
She admitted to Britain's
OK! Magazine: "I was about
11-years-old, and people in
the dance world were really
concerned about their
weight.
"But, as soon as my parents
saw me really skinny, they
put a steak in my mouth."
The actress and singer also
denied that there's a rift
between her and Lindsay
Lohan.
She said: "She's a sweet
girl. But we're obviously
not best friends.
"I don't see her all the
time, but when we do see
each other we always say
hi."

LaCHAPELLE has hit pop
sisters JESSICA and ASHLEE
SIMPSON with a $10,000
(GBP5,500) bill after they
cancelled a raunchy photo
shoot for Rolling Stone
magazine last year (05).
LaChapelle has also attacked
the sisters, insisting they
are talentless and
symptomatic of everything
wrong with modern culture.
The 37-year-old was left
fuming when Jessica and
Ashlee walked away from his
high profile shoot and
agreed to pose for Blender
magazine instead.
He tells PageSix.com,
"They're everything that's
wrong with music.
"Out of everything combined,
they're everything wrong
with culture, and everything
wrong with art, and what we
think of as art and musical
culture - in one family!
"We were going to try and
make the Simpsons look cool.
I realise now that is an
impossible task."
However, the Simpson sisters
insist they only ditched
LaChapelle because his
outrageous demands were
unsettling and made them
feel nervous.
A friend tells PageSix.com,
"He started making demands
that made her uncomfortable
telling her the shot was
going to be down and dirty
and in a bar with snakes
like she was PARIS HILTON.
"She has to protect her
image - and he was going to
kill it. They had no idea
they were going to be
attacked like that.
"And now to get a $10,000
bill? No way are they ever
going to pay that. He will
not see a dime from them.
They didn't sign any
contracts."

Of Rivalry |
Ashlee Simpson insists there
is no rivalry between her
and Lindsay Lohan. The teen
singer's new single,
Boyfriend, is rumoured to be
about Lohan and her ex,
Wilmer Vanderrama.
But Ashlee insists it is not
directed at the Mean Girls
star.
She said: "It's just a song
about every girl who has
gone through a situation
where somebody thinks you
took their boyfriend - and I
didn't steal her boyfriend!
I dated her ex when I was
17, before she dated him."
Ashlee, the sister of
singer-turned-actress
Jessica Simpson, insists she
has no problem with Lohan,
despite rumours of a rift.
She added to Britain's Star
magazine: "She is a sweet

ordering food at the fast
food restaurant and was
unaware that a camera was
documenting her actions.
She says, "I was being a
little, you know, silly and
crazy that day. The guy in
line behind me was like,
'Uh, you're gross' but he
didn't know who I was until
I turned around. Then he was
like, 'Can I have my picture
with you?'" and I was like,
'Dude, you called me
gross!'"
Simpson says the
embarrassing event has made
her stronger and forced her
to deal with public
expectations again after her
SATURDAY NIGHT LIVE
lip-synching incident.
She adds, "I feel it was a
moment of growing up. Most
people do that in college -
mine has to be done in front
of the world."
