Skechers |
Singer/actress Ashlee
Simpson is the new
international face of
footwear firm Skechers.
The 22-year-old is currently
starring in Chicago on the
London stage and enjoys
wearing the casual shoes
when she finishes
performing.
She says, "My feet really
take a pounding every time I
perform in the show so it's
a relief to get into my
comfortable sneakers at the
end of the night."
"I grew up wearing Skechers
and hope to add a few more
pairs to my wardrobe."

Ashlee Simpson Boasts Her
"Boobs Are Beautiful" |
Apart from many other
things, one big similarity
the Simpson sisters share is
that they both absolutely
love talking about their
breasts.
While earlier Dukes Of
Hazzard star Jessica
confessed she loved her
'bouncy friends,' now it's
kid sister Ashlee who has
claimed that "my boobs are
beautiful" gifts to men.
The 'Boyfriend' singer is
fed up with rumours she has
had plastic surgery to
enhance her cleavage, as she
says her breasts are perfect
as they are.
"You have to laugh because
people make up the goofiest
things. My boobs are
beautiful! I'm not getting
them done. I'm 22, they're
up and high," Celebrag.com
quoted her, as telling
Britain's OK! magazine,
However, the singer - who is
currently starring in the
London production of
"Chicago" - admits she gives
her cleavage a boost when
she plays seductive Roxie
Hart.
"I have pads in my dress
that you can knock on - it's
like four Wonderbras," she
said.

Rewarded With Gala Bow |
Pop star Ashlee Simpson has
been welcomed into the
Chicago fraternity after
portraying Roxie Hart on the
London stage - she'll join
the 10th Anniversary Gala
one-night-only performance
in New York.
The singer has wowed critics
and theatre fans on the West
End stage and now she has
been invited to show off her
skills on Broadway.
She'll join other Chicago
favourites like Bebe
Neuwirth, Joel Grey and
Marcia Lewis for the special
salute to the hit musical on
November 14th at the
Ambassador Theatre.

Ashlee Simpson's Birthday
Lacked 'Proper Celebs' |
Ashlee Simpson was left
deflated after failing to
recognise any of the guests
at her birthday party. The
Pieces Of Me singer - who is
in London starring as Roxie
Hart in the musical Chicago
- asked party organisers to
invite the cream of British
celebrities, but Ashlee
ended up celebrating turning
22 with reality TV stars and
singers she had never heard
of.
Surveying the guests at her
party in London's Embassy
nightclub, Ashlee was
overheard saying: "Who are
these people? I don't even
know them. If I'd had my
party in Los Angeles I would
have had proper celebs
there."
She even blamed the dismal
guest list for friend Ashton
Kutcher's failure to turn
up. According to reports,
Ashlee was heard whining:
"Ashton probably walked in,
took one look at this lot
and turned round and left."
Guests at Ashlee's 22nd
birthday party included
Bianca Gascoigne and
Victoria Hervey, contestants
in British reality TV show
Love Island.
Stars from Big Brother were
also out in force. Nikki
Grahame, who finished fifth
in this year's show, was
seen getting close with
former Blue boy band member
Duncan James.
Welsh singer and TV
presenter Charlotte Church,
20, helped Ashlee - who
recently appeared on her
talk show - get in the party
spirit by drinking shots of
tequila and strutting her
stuff on the dancefloor.
A source told Britain's
Daily Mirror newspaper:
"Charlotte danced with three
guys. Afterwards she sang
happy birthday to Ashlee. It
was very sweet."

Ashlee Simpson's Plastic
Surgery Warning |
Ashlee Simpson has warned
people not to rush into
plastic surgery.
The 'Boyfriend' singer - who
recently had rhinoplasty to
straighten her crooked nose
- insists it is everybody's
individual right to go under
the knife to improve their
looks.
However, Ashlee thinks
people should seriously
consider the possibility it
could go wrong.
She told Britain's More
magazine: "If people want to
get surgery, it's a personal
thing. But it's not
something anyone should rush
into. Once it's done, it's
done."
Ashlee's star sister Jessica
recently claimed that
cosmetic surgery had ruined
her looks.
The 'Dukes of Hazzard'
actress revealed she had
been having her lips
"plumped up" with
protein-based injections for
around 12 months.
However, Jessica, 26,
stopped undergoing the
procedure because the
injections were ruining her
"natural looks".
She said: "It looked fake
and I didn't like that. The
trouble is that it takes a
while to go away but now my
lips are getting back to how
they used to look, thank
God."

The American is in London

Chicago and invited a bevvy

the Embassy.

on, Charlotte Church gave a
cheesy grin and Love Island

flashed the flesh as she got

Pop star Ashlee Simpson has
slammed Nick Carter's claims
they slept together while
the Backstreet Boy was still
dating socialite Paris
Hilton.
Carter told PageSix.com on
Sunday that he had a brief
affair with Simpson after he
heard rumours Hilton was
cheating on him with her
House Of Wax co-star Chad
Michael Murray on set in
Australia.
The I Want It That Way
hitmaker and Hilton dated
for eight months before
splitting in July 2004 - the
same month Murray announced
his engagement to his One
Tree Hill co-star Sophia
Bush after proposing Down
Under.
Carter said, "I hooked up
with Ashlee Simpson. When
Paris came back from
Australia, they talked to
each other and she found out
about it."
However, Simpson insists the
alleged tryst never took
place, telling MSN, "No!
That is so random. When I

Pop star Nick Carter cheated
on former girlfriend Paris
Hilton with her rival Ashlee
Simpson, after hearing
rumours the socialite had
been sleeping with her House
Of Wax co-star Chad Michael
Murray.
The Backstreet Boy and
Hilton dated for eight
months before splitting in
July 2004 - the same month
Murray announced his
engagement to his One Tree
Hill co-star Sophia Bush
after proposing in between
filming scenes of the horror
movie in Australia.
Carter admits he was
unfaithful to Hilton - but
only after he was told by
mutual friends of the couple
that the hotel heiress was
seeing other men behind his
back.
He tells gossip site
PageSix.com, "I'd fallen
head over heels with this
chick. Then, all of a
sudden, three months go by
and I got people telling me,
'Nick, you know what Paris
is doing to you,' and I got
a little upset.
"So then I just decided to
fight back a little bit and
started doing my own thing
again. The result is I
hooked up with Ashlee
Simpson. When Paris came
back from Australia, they
talked to each other and she
found out about it.
"So I brought it up to her
and said, 'You know what I
did, and now it's your turn.
Why don't you tell me what
you did.' And she goes, 'I
never did anything! I never
cheated on you.'
"I had kind of started to
really like Ashlee and I was
thinking about the dating
stage, then, before you know
it (Paris) comes back.
"I got so burnt over that
whole Paris s**t with all
this swinging and switching.
Whatever happened to morals
and values?"
Michael Murray and Bush
ended their five-month
marriage in September 2005,
with the raven-haired beauty
filing for the marriage to
be annulled on the grounds
of "fraud".
